Dopo un lungo periodo di beta testing in alcuni paesi, Microsoft ha deciso ufficialmente di allargare la preview del servizio Project X Cloud anche in Italia e altri dieci paesi europei selezionati.

Per chi non lo conoscesse, Project XCloud è il futuro servizio di cloud gaming a cui sta lavorando Microsoft già da diversi anni, e nasce per affiancare la famiglia delle console Xbox, proponendo agli utenti una piattaforma digitale utilizzabile su PC, oppure smartphone e tablet.

Probabilmente a causa dell’emergenza Coronavirus l’azienda non si è ancora voluta sbilanciare concretamente sulla data di lancio della preview del nostro paese, ma si è limitata ad aprire le iscrizioni, effettuabile a questo link.

I requisiti essenziali per utilizzare Project xCloud richiedono ovviamente una connessione Wi-Fi o una connessione dati che supporti una larghezza di banda di 10 Mbps in download, come per lo streaming video. Se si utilizza una rete Wi-Fi, è consigliabile adottare una connessione a 5 GHz.
