Il famoso quotidiano britannico The Guardian ha pubblicato sulle sue pagine una speciale classifica dei cento uomini più influenti nei media dell’anno 2014. Come era prevedibile, ai primi posti, si sono posizionati i grandi top manager e fondatori di realtà sul web:
Larry Page, amministratore delegato di Google e Mark Zuckerberg, CEO e co-fondatore di Facebook. A seguire Tim Cook, amministratore delegato di Apple.
Google e Facebook dominano i media in questa speciale classifica, che vede tra gli altri, Jeff Bezos, CEO di Amazon, al quinto posto e subito dopo Dick Costolo, capo di Twitter, non fa altro che dire che i media sono monopolizzati dai grandi manager legati al Web.
Troviamo poi Rupert Murdoch al settimo posto, noto magnate dell’editoria e imprenditore televisivo e moltissimi altri grandi personaggi noti in campi che spaziano dalla musica, al cinema fino ad arrivare a PewDiePie, noto Youtuber.
